Hello there everybody! First, I would like to thank everybody on RageZone for helping us get to where we are now. So now to what we are all here for, Hunted MMO.
MAIN CONCEPT:
Hunted MMO is an open world survival horror game. Players will take control of a hunter, a forcibly hired government mercenary with one job, kill the Infected. Your job is to band with the other hunters and decimate the infected population, but with more hunters becoming infected, others turning on you for supplies and the challenge of surviving in this harsh world, are you up for the challenge?
Players will be arrive into the world with nothing but a days supply of food and medical supplies, after that players must then scavenge and explore the desolate countryside looking for supplies and surviving the apocalypse, your life is in your own hands.
Game Explanation:
Hunted MMO was started in the hopes of creating the most challenging post-apocalyptic survival game with the I:SS engine, where this cruel unforgiving world will punish you for every wrong action you take. Now, instead of putting the players in the shoes of a regular survivor, we make them take the role of Hunters, or Military Mercenaries who were forcibly sent into the infected zone, codenamed "Area SeaHawk". That's right, no longer is the whole world infected, only "Area SeaHawk" as codenamed by the military, a fictional 51st state in the U.S, has been exposed to the virus, but how did the infection start? were extra-terrestrials involved in this? Find out by finding hidden eastereggs and secret notes around the map. Unlike most games which seem to handicap you through the way, we will completely remove those handicaps, leaving you to rely on your survival and communication skills. Now for one of our main features; you aren't fighting "zombies", you are fighting mutated humans who can evolve into many different shapes and species, with completely unpredictable behavior. This is clearly the work of something morbid.
Key Features; Finished And/Or Planned:
- A Huge Persistent World: This is a nonlinear open world game.
- Explore, Scavenge, Kill, Survive: You are one of the few hunters that survived and must navigate the desolate countryside exploring farmlands, towns, cities and military bases and scavenging for items while evading the nightmares that lurk within. Looking for hidden items and notes, which will reveal part of the story, and why you were sent there in the first place.
- Completely custom map(s), custom made by our mappers.
- Largely improved Zombie AI, with many other creatures planned; They WILL kill YOU!
- Brand-new never before seen variations of customization items.
- Marketplace where you can buy cosmetic items only!
- Renamed most items and weapons to their realistic counterparts.
- Interactive safezones, where you can interact with multiple "smart" NPCs and hang out with other players, ask for quests, harvest resources and help build up the safezone, and much more. (Still W.I.P, Unreleased).
- In hopes of becoming a realistic game, we increased the weapon damage DRASTICALLY! 2-3 shots of an M16; YOUR DEAD.
- Earn Dollars, the main currency in Hunted by either finding the money, killing zombies, or completing quests (Quests system hasn't been implemented yet). Or buy Gold Coins, the premium currency in Hunted, which will allow you to revive your character quicker, and buy some unique and premium cosmetic items!
- Immersive environment with brand-new spine chilling sounds and ambient effects. We handpicked the best SFX we could find out there.
- Group with other players to increase your chances of survival: Team work is the key to survival; We really mean it this time, you can't lone wolf your way through this one.
- Create and grow your own clans, or "Factions" as we like to call them, it's not just a name tag, it's something more.
- Earn XP that you can spend on dozens of available skills.
- Buy and unlock many character skins and customization items, including completely custom never-before seen skins and player models.
- Reputation system: Choose to become a hero or a bandit; This will heavily influence the gameplay, choose your side wisely!
- Huge variation of custom melee and firearm weapon types.
- Here's is big one......NO Mini-Map.

When will this be released?
Well, while other servers focus on having a working anti-cheat, good maps, and balanced loot/weapons, we are focusing on mainly having a BRUTAL zombie AI before release; Of course we will also focus on everything else listed above, but our main focus is to have an unforgiving world that's not for the faint of heart.
So putting together what was said above, our ETA for the first Pre-Alpha release might be within 3-4 days from now (April 9th or 10th 2015).
