[Editor] Assertion Failed error
I keep getting this error:

Anyone else getting it and any solution? I'm using MentaL's standalone editor.

Re: [Editor] Assertion Failed error
Anyone got an idea for a fix on this? At the moment I can't use the editor for fear of losing progress - it's already happened 7 times :(

D'oh! Sorry mate! Won't happen again
Whilst you're here though, any chance you know why this error occurs?

Re: [Editor] Assertion Failed error
You'd have to debug the application in Visual Studio or whatever debugger you prefer. I generally switch between Visual Studio 2010 and WinDbg.
It's not giving enough information for me to be very helpful aside from that.
Sorry bud

Re: [Editor] Assertion Failed error
It's strange because it's giving the path c:\... but I'm using the standalone that MentaL released so it isn't even stored there. Hmmm...

Re: [Editor] Assertion Failed error
The file location itself, isn't the issue bro.
It's just telling you where the source (during compile and line number) is running into an issue.
The real error will not be known without doing the debugging steps that I mentioned earlier.

Re: [Editor] Assertion Failed error
install c++ runtimes and see if it works then.
