Convert the folder api into an application.

don't need to convert it,
put bin and App_Data to wwwroot, anything else put in WarZ/api/
double check that you turn ASP .NET service in IIS on, or else you'll get 404
Turn error pages in iss to detailed errors to see what happen with your page

You do need to convert because if you don't your aspx files will say make sure you compile this file before adding to web server so you do need to convert....
