    [HELP]Item Skinning

    Can anyone tell me why when we try and add the Hud Icons or Store Icons that they have a white backround like in the pic even though we are making them transparent.

    Example : Coor Light Can

    Re: [HELP]Item Skinning

    Does the image has an alpha channel?

    In DDS:

    Black = transparent

    From the tripwire interactive forums:
    Here's how I got my custom fog ring texture into the KF Editor;

    In Photoshop

    File > New... > Change Background Contents to Transparent > Ok

    Create the fog gradient going from my fog colour to nothing > File > Save As... > Change Format to .dds > Ok > In the Nvidia window that just popped up change to DXT5 in the drop down menu > Save

    Go into Killing Floor Editor > Open up the Texture Browser > File > Import... > Find your texture > Open > In the new Import Texture box that pops up enter myLevel into Package: and enter a name, also make sure you check the Alpha box in the lower left.

    You should now have a fully useable transparent fog ring.
