Sounds like , you are not getting the whole perfomance of that hardware. Check what is using your CPU / ssd etc.

    Re: RS Build very Long

no, no, obviously 64 gb ram and ssd is not enough better get a X35 SSD version to build the data in 2.5 sec...

    talking out of stpd sarcasms

is not problem of the ram, sdd or cpu... the method to build all the data to binary is complex and need time to read and make the filesystem build your update so

use rebuild to compile just the new files guy.. read a little the codes, have a nice day.

    a clue look in rsbuild.xml
<!-- set base archive for incremental update -->
    <!--<base file="C:\inetpub\wwwroot\AfterLife\wz67120B04"/>

It means you only use incremental update after you have done rsbuild complete and time consuming, so it takes a few seconds (my case takes 30 seconds)

It's time consuming because rsbuild.exe does file read by file 1 by 1, with programming knowledge, I think it's possible for you to check it all at once, this is not my area.

Still I do full builds everyday an it goes thru 35k files in like 10 mins... and his server is stronger, so obviously something is not right on his part.
