    Re: How a VPS

let me get this straight: you want to know how to configure a server to VPS?
did not quite understand your question, this is the case, you need to configure it normally...

Our maybe this can help you http://forum.ragezone.com/f791/tutor...-setup-926754/

PS: All personnel including me asking help here has to remember that the same people who help here also have their servers to make :P

    Re: How a VPS

I personally have a hardware Linux server onto which I've installed VMWare Server 2 (free since 2009 as no more support).
Works like a charm, configure your Windows 2008 VM to use NAT (vmnet8) then modify nat rules in file /etc/vmware/vmnet8/nat/nat.conf in order to reroute UDP ports. Tricky part was to let Linux's apache to act as a proxy and reroute 80/443 ports on a server name basis.

If you're now speaking about a true VPS server that you rented, it should works out of the box, just like any other 'real' server.
