Just thought I'd share! (Please Read!)

I know, I'm not too obligated to make this post because I know: nothing about coding, nothing about WarZ/Infestation servers, how everything works, or how to even read coding. I only know how to play the game and how to be a good helper; but, I'd like to see the community come together to help code things, and start an enormous project for WarZ/Infestation.

I've seen a few developers such as: DNC, Novoc, the DeadZ staff, and a few others who've released some major and not so major stuff.

DNC for the whole major tutorial that's saved everyone's ass, along with the DeadZ staff for kindly releasing how they've setup their server (which they honestly did not need to do at all.) You must know, people have a life outside of their coding/developing that could have taken them endless days and endless nights to do. People have school, work, family, and friends that they must spend time with, not sit here jerking everyone off on the forums...

I see how stressed DNC can get when people constantly bug him about things like "when the updates will come out, omg." Also everything that he has pre-covered in his video tutorial that people got lazy to watch cause they're so impatient and rushy. By accident I've done this to him, and felt like a total d*ck afterwards.

I know this is all stupid to all you major developers, you're probably thinking 'this guy knows nothing about what he's talking about and needs to just leave these forums' but I honestly think a WarZ/Infestation project has a lot of potential if everyone were able to come together and actually help each other out, it's like a free-for-all of coders/developers/etc.

I'd like to say, if anyone could help me with any kind of tutorials on how to code/get to know the scripting of the WarZ game itself I'd much appreciate that. I'd really like to actually be able to help out the community rather than just taking scripts from the coders/developers and just pasting them in like a piece of cake.

Hopefully, this will help the people realize that the developers/coders aren't there to be your little b*tches, they're here to release what they know.

Sorry I only gave the biggest recognition towards DNC, he's the one who helped me to get my server up from his video tutorial (I follow videos better than reading/text.)

Well, don't hate me for posting this, don't think I'm ignorant, I just thought I'd share what would be very useful/helpful towards this community.

I'd like to thank all the developers/coders for releasing their projects and useful information.

If you guys think I had no reason to post this, please don't flame on this topic, PM me instead and we'll have a chat through there.

I swear, the habbo community is doing better now ever since the full phoenix source has gotten released (all the members and good developers have been editing the whole source, all the classes etc.)

As an administrator of DeadZ I thank you for your kind words, and remember, we're a community here, we can be competitive at times, but if we do not innovate, we do not progress, and without competition there is no innovation as a result of trying to do things better.

This goes for this section and every other section on these forums.

Just so you know, DeadZ may have a surprise up its sleeve. More on that soon.

I know you guys aren't with hammerpoint, I'm pretty sure the shit heads there (no offence) would allow you to do what you devs are currently doing. I'd assume they're just going to get all mad and try to sue you sooner or later because your version will come out better than WarZ ever will.

DNC stole iKasu's and GigaToni's code. At their bugtracker, he changed everything that GigaToni added to "DNC". Example: "Increased ammo" DNC changed to "Increased DNC!".

Even though I don't think you will take my commentary seriously, I still believe I should share my opinion, my point is that you bring the same unoriginal argument every damn time, when someone uses the user DNC in one of their sentences (For all of the new community members I recommend you reading this). It's simply annoying hearing the same thing over and over.

Moreover I believe no one should take sides, besides the users concerned/affected by that whole drama, because we don’t know every aspect of what happened so it would be, in my eyes, a waste of time to side with someone without being in the know exactly what happened. So JonnyTruant, if you’re answering this post, screaming that I'm wrong and that DNC stole code, I just won't answer you, as I don't see that contributing anything to the community, but if you’re open for a mature conversation I’d gratefully do it by PM (or on this topic, if you think it would contribute anything to the op) ;) .

So my advice to you is, to just stop repeating yourself, let it be, it doesn't contribute in any form to our community, better use your time to help community members then raging about some individuals about what they might have or haven’t done.

As far as I'm concerned I don't know who lied / who's the bad guy... even tough I think everyone interprets his actions as correct (to be fair, I would probably think the same way^^). My incertitude is mostly caused by the fact, that GigaToni and iKasu never responded to DNC's huge last post. So I guessed that they (in particular GigaToni) have either stated their opinion and have nothing to add, or (If one believes DNC's post) iKasu understood that it was a bit of a misapprehension, and that (after DNC's post) GigaToni was the one who caused trouble, as also stated by iKatsu in a PM: "Well as u can see it was a fog of illusions created by GigaToni and his arguments.". Moreover I really don't want to judge GigaToni, as he hasn't affirmed or negated the accusations. Well, you see as far as the "normal" people, without insider information (Sounds a bit funny like I would write something about a criminal case :D) one can't really say who's right and who isn't.

That's the point I wanted to make, it wasn't my intention to say you should release something, as I understand that people without special knowledge about the warz sourcecode want to be a part of a community, and I have absolutely no problem with it, every new member is welcome here... if he respects the forum rules ofc. Just to eliminate misunderstandings, I have also no problem with people who code things which they won't release, as it's their good right to do whatever they want with their code.

So, to finish I want to say that I appreciate you reading my comment and also answering it :)
