    new character problem

    So I'm trying to get new character in the game.. the model itself is working good and if I were just to open the model AS a model in the studio, it would be fine, however if I were to set it as a playable character it would be squished.


    I've realized it's an issue with the ".WGT" file because if I were to use another wgt, my studio would crash with this error:

    (I added the new character as a replacement for an existing character at first, before adding it as a new one)


    Does anyone know how to make these .wgt files or whatever so I can get my characters working?


    Important note:
    before writing anything you must take into consideration that THIS IS A BRAND NEW MODEL, it's not from WarInc or WarZ and writing out ideas like "your itemsdb.xml is wrong" won't do either because it has nothing to do with this (and I've tried all of the obvious stuff already.)

    Do not characters in 3Dmax use an skeleton? In all the games it is not the same, probably it is because of it for what does not work well, I tube a problem with another similar game and it was because of it

    i say this



    in some games is diferent with diferent names and when have diferent names have errors if you import to other game

    If you see it well in form T it is because there it does not use the skeleton, but when you are going to move it if

    i dont know what is this but i remember when i added super zombie he come = this xD

    If I see that it has skeleton, but and the names of the parts of the skeleton? Do they call like those that the warz uses? Every game uses his own names and if you want that they work well, deberias to do that the same names have that those of the warz, I have had this problem often in unity3D when I use characteres and is because of it.

    I don't know. but I know that these meshes are just standard 1 piece meshes :|

    The important thing is not the mesh, is the skeleton of the mesh, is the one that does that the mesh could move with the animation, and the animations of the warz use a concrete skeleton with a few specific names and in order that it works well they will have to be the same

    Or you can do as I said - do a retexture for any of the characters you choose. It will take some time, but it's better until you figure out how to fix it.

    you try the warz skeleton? you have on C:\WarZ\bin\Data\Tests some examples, maybe you need this skeleton

    it's not far cry. it's Far Cry 3. Far cry series are 3 completely different games wearing same name, don't mix them together.
    Of course I know it is Far Cry 3 :/

    what's the point in adding same shit over and over again? those models have everything ready as is.. -.- as I said, WGT file is the issue.. I don't know how to compile that or whatever it's needed to do..
