    Question About Server

Ok I got my server up and running and I can connect to it just fine. I want a few friends (5-6) to be able to join in with me.
My IIS server is ran on the IP 192.168.1.17 (local IP that is static for my PC). My launcher contacts this to get into the /wz/ and /api/ folder.

Basically is there a way that my friends can contact this with a program or something or would I have to recompile everything with a different (Public) IP? If so where is the best place to find one?

I am pretty damn noobish when it comes to IP's, but I understand the basics. Any help at all would be nice, be it links to another post or a short answer.

    Many Thanks In Advance

    Re: Question About Server

If I use hamachi where would I place the Virtual IP (in the code, a config file, ect...), and if possible is there a way I can have my friends IP come to my Router and then pointed to my 192.168.1.17 webserver?

    Re: Question About Server

sorry bro, you cant. If your ip is not open to anothers connect to you, you have to use hamachi and use hamachi ip to re-compile the server.

    Re: Question About Server

Alright I thought it would come down to that, I'll screw around with it later. Much Thx Man .

One more Question Though, When changing the IP in the code do I replace all the 192.168.1.17's (IP I used) for the Virtual IP? Also do I have to make the binding on my IIS to the virtual IP or do I leave it as a (*)?

In code you will have to replace all the 192 and put your virtual ip!
but your iis you just leave alone...
Make sure you use port 80
    ;)
