server requirements

hey,
im new in this section here and im a little bit confused because I found so many download and stuff and I dont know which files I need for the server.
First of all I found a nice tutorial here:

But where can I get the serverfiles? And should I install the updates first or should I first intall the server-/files?
And where can I download the client?

I´m really looking forward some help.
