    [W.I.P] Colorado Desert Variant

    Hey there folks!

I've recently decided to attempt to edit the original Colorado into something a bit different with one goal: Keep the gameplay, change the feel.

So I have come up with this, a desert version of the original Colorado V1 (Think Mad Max).

NOTE: This was a pretty easy thing to do, just haven't seen it in an emulator yet and decided to share it with the community.

    Features:
-Dried up lake (Some water still remains).
    -Discolored water.
-Sand-colored fog, to indicate a sandstorm.
    -Removed all the grass.
    -Alpha lighting effects/Graphics
-Alpha buildings and no overgrowth (NOT SHOWN IN CURRENT SCREENSHOTS)
    -
Replaced most ambient sounds of nature to the sound of strong wind, vultures, eagles, etc...
-Removed some trees. (Should I remove all the trees? Wouldn't the map feel too empty?)

    Now for some eye-candy!

    MORE SCREENSHOTS COMING SOON!

    Q: Will this be released?
A: MAYBE, depends on whether or not my team decides to use it in our next project.

    Leave feedback below!

    Regards,

For trees, you can remove them and add trees from maybe Aftermath, because there all desert type trees.

Just convert them to .sco and make new .phx and .mpx and you can have a really awesome editation of the map.

    Thanks, I'll try that. :)

EDIT: The trees don't really fit though, I'm going for more of a unnatural desert. As in Colorado was once filled with grass and beautiful nature (As in the original), however harsh conditions and radiation turned this place into a desert wasteland.

The trees in Aftermath fit more into a naturally desert area, not into a place that became a desert due to harsh weather and nuclear radiation.

But I don't want to remove all the trees cuz it will make it look WAY too empty.
