Actually, java server is much better.
The enough configuration for teraonline.org server emulator is (my current server, holding up to 500 players and above):
fx-8350 8-cores CPU, 4.50Ghz, 32Gb DDR3 1600Mhz, SSD 120Gb, Network 1Gb.
This config is enough for java server.

they are using korean client but translated to russian
since we are not know such of game mechanic not really important to get the newest one.
this version what we have is good enough to start, would be better to get the rest opcodes for instances and missing things.
