[Server version 100.02] World Server window crashes during startup

Hello everyone,

By chance I found this forum when I was looking for a way to continue playing even after Tera was shut down.
I also found the following guide:

This has helped me a lot, unfortunately I'm stuck in the last step. As soon as I start the World Server, various processes are displayed that are loaded. Then a small window pops up containing various commands.
But after a while, the World Server window closes completely after it shows a bunch of "Failed get random spawn pos/dir in huntingzone[43]" errors.
I don't know anything about this and would appreciate it if someone could help me.

thank you for your fast reply.

This is very awkward for me now, but after the umpteenth attempt, the World Server seems to have started successfully.

I haven't actually changed anything, so I don't know why it suddenly worked.

However, would you be so kind and could please tell me how I can still save the logs of the server, although the window closes immediately on error?

Unfortunately, I have now encountered another error, the launcher does not start. I have entered the IP address and the port using ResourceHacker.
Again, no error or similar appears, I only see the launcher icon in the taskbar, but no window opens.

That's a normal behavior when you start the worldserver since we're using virtual ram and not physical ram actually

I'm using the launcher from the github repository. There is a green button with the text "Code" in it. There I downloaded all files in a .zip-file as tera-launcher-master.zip and took the Launcher.exe from the "dist" folder.
As described in the guide, I moved this file to the folder to the client.

I did that.
Please refer to the guide I linked in my entry post. There is a section which explains the booting sequence for the server and I've been following it precisly.
TeraApi -> Start -> Arbiter -> Topography -> World
I've made sure that every part of the sequence was successfully booting before starting the launcher.

Post a screenshoot from strings 19 and 20 from the launcher, also make sure to disable the windows firewall

The guide stated that the firewall is deactivated by default. I double checked right now and it is indeed deactivated.

If I have done everything right and it still doesn't work, it seems futile.

I also created an account for testing.

However, the next problem occurred immediately. My server appears in the list, but as soon as I click on "Enter Server", there is a freeze and the server disappears from the list again.
When I restart the launcher, the server is there again, but when I click on "Enter Server" the same problem occurs...

Remember to change the loginip from server_info, it have to be you server IP

I would greatly appreciate if you could please describe how you fixed the issue, as "trial and error" seems hardly reproducable.

Are you using the VM? if so, which network config do you have? NAT? Bridged?
If not, did you turn off the firewall?

The small loading window means there's no communication between Client <----> Server due wrong IP, Ports or Firewall
