I haven't seen claymore, but FMA was by far one of the best animes I've ever seen, the ending kinda pissed me off though.
Since you compare Claymore to FMA, I guess i'll check it out.
FMA did the same as Claymore, anime caught up and ended the way they wanted, FMA manga is still running and is fairly different to what the anime was like.Quote:

I personally think that Claymore is better...FMA just seemed like another one of those anime's wanting some of everything incorporated...First 20-30 episodes were good, but after, I just lost interest.
Claymore must have a season 2! Priscilla didn't die at the end, for one, and we have yet to see what is to become of the other dwellers of the deep... I'd love to see how it turns out when the 7 have to fight, not only the youma, but the other claymores that are sent after them... Gives me the goosebumps just thinking about it :)
I'm torn by wanting another season because it is brilliant and then not because it was brilliant because it followed the manga.
Since the ending of the 1st season is way off the manga it is all going to be original, in other words "FILLERS" and we all know how bad they can be at times... >.<
I can't actually see there being a second season for another year or 2 though...
