On August 10, 2010, a.t.b. (the Imperial calendar), the Holy Empire of Britannia overpowered Japanese forces and conquered the country with their new robotic weapons, the Knightmare Frames, in less than a month. Ya well, I don't think they will go for a 3rd season, R2 is coming to a close, so how Lelouch gets out doesn't matter much (assuming he does, and doesn't just die in the end).
