Favorite anime would be: Naruto, why? It got me into anime, it has a very good story line. Yes it may have fillers but so what :P.
Also Fairy Tail and Guilty Crown are pretty epic too!

The start of it was BORING, and THEN it got into the romance and the whole general thing. I simply like the way it was plotted. ^_^

The 1st anime I watched all the way through was Dragon Ball Z, man I still LOVE dbz but a very close contender for me is Outlaw Star!
In Outlaw Star I love the voice acting in English and Japanese (normally I only like 1!) and even though it is only 26 eps long it's brilliant! I love the theme tune!!! Outlaw Star Opening - YouTube

Only anime I have ever seen was naruto, I absolutely LOVED it.
I loved every peice of it, they just peiced it together so well that it cought attention.
