Next in line would be Victory Gundam. In many ways it's far superior then Zeta Gundam at it's high points. Though the only problem is that quality isn't constant. With Zeta Gundam, it's great from start to finish. Victory Gundam opened up slow and took a while to get good. Once it got there though it was amazing and stayed that way till the end.
The only Gundam series that I have yet to watch fully is Turn A Gundam. I've seen a few episodes of it but it actually bored me. I'm planning on watching it sometime soon though.
If y'all like Gundam then y'all should really take a look at Macross. It's an amazing series also. The first one is called Robotech (first 36 episodes) and it's well worth the watch. Macross 7 (the sequel) is even better and on par with some of the better Gundams. Macross Frontier (the sequel to 7) is the newest one and has to be one of my all time favorite anime. The story and character development is top class and is really on par with the best Gundam series.

You should try watching Turn A gundam, Almost made me cry at the ending, Tomino at his best!
I watch the entire english version of Macross (Robotech known in US) Epicness as well!

zeta gundamn was very nice
i kinda liked seed and 00 too but mehh tastes differ, i prefer good animation with a fairly good story above a pretty good story with sucky animation :-P

I thought it was awesome, Did you know that was how Tomino intended the series to be? None of that super saiyan robot bullshit you see nowadays
