Funny I was reading the manga earlier but I was trying to find which chapter that the anime left off at.
Then I went on mininova and there happened to be FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood RAW
I thought it was a movie but I guess its the new series.
Theres no point in downloading the RAW though since I don't know Japanese.

Summary of Episode 1:
[spoiler]Seems to be set just after Edward becomes a state alchemist.
Enemy: Isaac of Ice - former alchemist that worked with Col. Mustang during the Ishbal Extermination. (more or less filler)
Has Edward/Al's first meeting with Hughes where he invites them to stay.
Isaac meets with Kimblee(Crimson alchemist) in jail.
Isaac tries to cover the HQ with ice with a huge Transmutation circle which activates with the power of a philosophers stone. At this moment we see a close up of Father (!) opening his eyes!
A few characters make an appearance - Armstrong, Riza Hawkeye.

The series is a rewrite but this time following the manga storyline... I as well don't read the FMA manga so I can't really tell you about it.
