It was released back on Feb 9th in Japan. (The 2009 is for US release)

So was the second movie. L was suppose to die, and then the battle of Light, N, and M was suppose to happen. I think if they stuck to the anime plot, they would of had 2 more movies. However don't get the wrong, the movie was still clever like the other movies, and anime.

I just watched both. Even though the movie was nothing close to the show, i still liked it.

I give this movie 3.5 stars(out of 5)
