I'm going to buy some Seymour Duncun pickups in the near future and then my guitar will completely own all others. Except for ones that exceed $2000.

btw, are Seymour Duncun better the Dim?

I looked for a black one, or maybe a midnight blue color but all they have right now in production is Apple Red. I don't mind so much. But black would be kick ass. Electric Blue would look good too. The best look ever though is black body with stark grey hardware and white finger board.
And duncans are sooo much better for lead and solo guitarist. On this guitar they will just fucking own.
if you wanna get some pretty good pickups for pinch harmonics or leads, you should get some active pickups. but I think you have to mess with the wiring to go from passive to active pickups.

it's got a floyd rose on it of course :D. Dude you can do some sick shit on the whammy bar and still pull it back in tune with a floyd rose.
anywho, it has seymore duncan pickups on it, but i wanna change them out for some EMG detonators(not sure the name). you know, the pickups that look all flat and stuff. Or maybe i might get some really badass active pickups.

Yeah. I'm starting to like these pickups. The more I play the more I stray from the duncans. But I just love everything about this guitar, especially the color.
dont get duncans....ever....
i love dimarzio evolutions and plan to put those in my guitar but first i have to buy a new amp, and omg... guitar is expensive...
My parents suffice to say, are rich. But very fair...I had to work my ass off last summer to get this guitar. I do like duncans though, but I'm not going to put them on this guitar.
My guitar is matt black or gothic black as its sometimes known. Its pretty crap and beaten up a bit but i still love it. I want a strat though
Stratocasters lick scrotom. Just my opinion and personal experience.

high end strats have really beautiful tone and what not, but if you're just gonna get a regular to medium high strat, might as well not get it because mostly you're just paying for the name.
Strats are just not my style. Necks are a little too thick as well.
