The first 2 minutes of this movie consists of this: 23 seconds for beginning studio credit, then the movie starts and all the way upto the 2 minute mark is simply the opening, introduction scenes with a bit of hilariously older sounding music playing in the background giving viewers some insight as to what the rest of the movie may be about in some regard, depicting grim scenes of slavery and all that. In fact, it isn't even until 3:15 the music stops and THEN the story slowly begins to unravel and it would be only at the said point, where you would even begin to understand the overlaying plot of the movie.

Its fair to say, you didn't even give this movie a fucking chance. So maybe thats why you don't like Tarantino? Did you also watch Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, From Dusk Til Dawn, Inglorious Bastards and other movies by Tarantino? And if you actually did, which I doubt: Did you also turn those fucking films off at the 2 minute mark too? If you even actually know who Tarantino is, I would be just fucking amazed right now.

And you don't like Dicaprio either? Fucking really now? You sir, are simply full of shit. Leonardo DiCaprio is an amazingly talented actor, watching him act on screen is actually quite phenomenal. He brings that certain stage presence, not to mention he is truly engulfed by the character he is playing in any given movie. He is damn, good. So one might ask, how is it you have come to dislike such an obviously, undeniable talented individual? Same can be asked about Tarantino.

Hell, DiCaprio doesn't even appear in this movie until over an hour into it. He isn't one of the main characters. You might as well just've posted "LOL, im a tasteless fucking mongloid! look at me guys!" - Because the post translated into exactly this for me.

Just saw this film! Absolutely amazing, have no idea how someone could not like this Film!, yet again Tarantino does a good job like he did with Pulp Fiction and all his other films.

JaredT, black guy, has a figuration role in this movie and honestly didn't give a shit about the "racist" crap.
Also, no, I didn't get him on my team for a free ticket, he didn't even get one afaik and I haven't even seen the movie yet.

I played a cotton picker. Hahah, The number of puns and jokes that were on the set that day was incredible. lol, and Tarantino is one of the coolest people I've ever met. Even though his accent in the movie was laughable lol.

Just finished the movie....have to say...it will carry legend status just like Pulp fiction...one of the best movies I've seen in years!

Came to this thread to say, this movie is pure genius. The actors couldn't have done better especially for chritoph waltz, he deserves his award, and Di Caprio's probably best performance too.
Classic Tarantino, mixes weird shit but still looks legit, funny as hell but again, still look legit enough to not cross the line of "ridiculous" movie he keeps all the seriousness in it.

PS: Shoutout to all avengers fan and praising the so-called talented "Robert downey Jr.", What I call talent is Di Caprio for example, and what I call a true movie is Django Unchained, not a copy cat of fucking transformers so damn overrated.

I believe Waltz has already won 2 awards for Django. But maybe just one in the Golden Globes. And another for Inglourious Basterds.
