Re: [TV] The Walking Dead Season 3
Michonne might be a weaker character in the comics...I know they aren't following it exactly.
As for your comments Madison:

I agreed with Madi, any time a second character gets a lot of screen time and starts to establish their characters, there is a very high chance of them dying in the immediate future. If they didn't do any establishment, the death would be meaningless to the audience after all. Plus the primary chars barely talk that much about themselves (or rather, they don't get that many lines tbh)

Cowards - there are many cowards in TWD, but yeah the gov is a coward. But at the prison; well more 'structured' most/all can use a gun; this means they can protect themselves. Meanwhile at wood berry; they rely on guards to use the guns. not really good - train all to use guns then if needed they can actually fight.

yea those at the town are like lazy folks haha.

Then it wouldn't be a town would it? It'd be a military base. He was trying to work towards a more civil place for people to live.

but yet it would be better to provide gun training so if needed they could use a gun... It really doesn't matter if it is civil place or not, if there was a zombie apocalypse I know that I would want to learn how to use a gun.
Re: [TV] The Walking Dead Season 3
It's not hard. You aim, pull trigger. Lesson learned.
Anyone who isn't capable of firing a weapon *as simple as it is* even without prior lessons deserves to get bitten.
Re: [TV] The Walking Dead Season 3
There's more to it then just pointing and shooting...how to tell bullets apart? How to load? Not firing cause of safety being on...eaten :(I know a few people who are dumb enough that if I sent them to the shop for bullets for a 9mm...they would return with shotgun shells.....

I don't know how to use a gun, nor do I ever want to. But in context which we are speaking of. ZOMBIES - then yes I wold want to know how to use a gun. It isn't just one of those things which you learn at school (well you don't learn it at schools) It is stupid which you should even suggest that.
If aiming is so simple... why do they have so much trouble getting the guy on that tower? The governor? that other dude by the tree.... It doesn't make sense. I bet you actually have never held a gun. You just play call of duty and think thats how it roles....

Actually, I no, rather dislike cod. It's kind of hard for someone to have been in the armed forces and not know how to operate a weapon.
I'll let it slide because you're simply ignorant. Firing a weapon is not nearly as difficult as it may "seem" nor is aiming or hitting a target 100 meters out. I've fired everything from rifles to pistols. Though I favor pistols. They're easier to aim with, aside from the obvious less weight.
