i am ghost has a violin, though they aren't really emo... a lil gothic maybe, but dunno bout emo.

Dude, chill out.. the guy just said that emo's are dumb. He didn't say the music's bad. Me, personally, I don't like emo bands only because of their concept. You know, the fact that they're always depressed for no reason and cut themselves because life causes them pain, and all that crap. Gotta say that their music isn't bad, but the way the behave and all that, is not for me.

Emo sucks imo, too depressive, some emo are too poppy. Jazz/blues/funk/prog rock/melodic death metal ftw!
