The less predominantly commercial anime that is the less never ending story with the same plot type anime such as pokemon.
This type of production is far superior in quality then any other type of show, it does not rely on the vane star power in actors and actresses of other television or cinema presentations.
The shows live or die by the story the character development, dialogue and such.
It is generally very artistic and provocative and can bring abouts a scenario which would demand an astronomical budget nightmare to produce in another fashion.
The style of the art is rich in the ability to evoke emotions when done right with the appreciative and more open and less ignorant audience.
Vanity cases will be inclined to call it crap because they are a nice extension of a hypnotised society that has no mind of it's own, with only the ability to say that sux and you are gay.
These people are adorably moronic with the ideas that they are above "cartoons" as they are so very mature which is laughable.

Well my post won't be as good as the person above me. But for me anime is entertaining, i find it much more then just drawing, or animation. I find it more absorbing then a movie as i always find a decent or inspiring moral at the end of a series. As well in alot of animes they do things which you can't do in live action , being pervented, humor or just blowing shit up. Those are my two cents. :)
DBZ Is japanese just like Sailor Moon, pokemon and so on and so on.. They are animes aimed at ~7 year olds.. If we look at DBZ as an example.. It's part of an anime subgenre named Shounen (meaning boy), now one might think that means the entire Shounen genre is aimed at that age which is wrong.. There are Shounen series like Air Gear that's aimed at 15+.. It's a very wide veriety and basicly.. Any genre featured in ordinary movies are featured in anime.. That's what makes anime so diffrent from "ordinary cartoons".. The only diffrence between anime and real movies are the fact that anime are drawn..Quote:
