Death Note takes a nice bow for flaming crap. The series, admittedly, was good up until the introduction of the new headquarters of L. After L died, then the show took a nose dive into ratings land, where anything goes, but everyone will watch!

Bleach has some elements that make the show fun and interesting, yet in the end is filler galore, and plot hole-amazing! Kind of like how Ichigo was unable to maintain the Hollow transformation for more than six seconds, then a several minutes, and now forever! (just as long as he doesn't get his guts wrench out from him) Maybe that 50 episode filler made a lot of you forget that fact.. I guess it would for anyone. This is a reoccurring theme throughout the series, so don't feel to bad about everything they bore you to forget.

Mecha animes are bled to death. Absolutely no originality exists for this genre anymore.

Naruto basically knows 2 techniques... shadow clone and rasengan... gets REALLY boring... even now when he learns sage mode... its basically the same...
Bleach...well its OK... but I can't get that excited over it...
I only finished watching Death Note because I don't like ditching something good halfway... even though it was only good for half...

On a side note, my favourite animes as of today would be

1. Gintama
(Its original! It parodies stuff! Politics, other anime, ... some rather adult material... but over all it keeps it fresh)

2. (I can't remember all of a sudden...but I was gunna put something)

3. Air Gear (They should have continued it, but they cut it off so gay-ly, so manga it is...)

4. Gundam Wing (Very first mecha series I watched and it was quite cool at the time, I loved building the gundam models from those $20 box sets...)

5. POKEMON (Hell yeah! Technically the very first "japanime" I've ever watched! So it deserves a spot here!"

Hmm. I probably haven't seen much in terms of anime so far. But, I have seen quite a few series. Here goes my top 5, SO FAR.

1. Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagan
2. Berserk
3. Claymore
4. Code Geass
5. Full Metal Panic

The problem with 2 and 3 is that the manga goes further than the anime does. I would really like to see a publisher pick those two series up again and finish them.
