When i first saw habbo, i saw my brother playing it.
These were the ever first versions of the game... i suppose...
Creating rooms wasn't free, there were no pixels, you could create an account but thats it for the "free"dom. Just like the shit game "Club Penguin".
(you couldn't do anything else but creating your account and go to dumb places and chat.)
Like 1 year later or something, i got borred realy badly and habbo was on the news. Someone created a fan website or something and won an award with it... anyways:
I thought lets give the game a try.
As it is now know as "classic retro" i first played habbo as the still fun game.
Creating rooms wer'e free, you had the games battleball and snowstorm, it had the classic simple feeling, and thats that.
I loved it that way.
Then they came with Beta, i still played it a lot... yet i got borred many times of habbo and then turned to something else.
Last time i liked habbo and played it it was in the version where they just putted snowstorm back and stuff. That was quite funny in the beginning. I was exiting that they brought the old game back.

Yet i got borred again and never played it anymore.
Untill 2 days ago, i got borred badly and now i try to make my own r63 habbo retro. I am trying to develop it for simple use. Like no big groups and junk, just easy habbo.
Im trying not to use xampp because that is too eazy. I am trying to put it on a webhosting website.
(webhosting is totally free there for like 12 months, after that you can still use it. Just reactivate the account and evereything will be still free. The website is called 000webhost.com)

Pretty sure you can't host a retro solely on normal web hosting especially not free hosting. Could be wrong, besides it doesn't matter anyway.

Theoretically you can. Take a look at the old Jabbo. But hosting a R63 would be impossible (unless you write your own client). But even then you had a problem with the real time aspect... (long polling isn't a real solution) But after all this seems to go quite offtopic...

You mean pixels. The free furni part has been there for ages. They even added it under the name of 'noob' furniture. You could buy it with pixels.

Too much. You even have to pay 51 credits to exchange 50 credits.

No, you pay the 1 credit when buying the exchange item.

Its just a way to filter out money from the game. Pretty logic if you ask me though.
