Didn't expect Habplus to close anytime soon.
Never would've thought Habplus was going to close anytime soon... This is truley coming to a close end for the retro world, say what you want, but it's coming to a end, we all know that!
Habplus did the right decision. If i had a such a big hotel like they had and got contacted by sulake to close the hotel or they have to get legal action. I mean why keep fighting? Atleast, they closed in a good way. Thanks for the memories Habplus!

The hotel clearly didn't close due Sulake warning them or shutting them down that is the worst excuse you can make for having your hotel being closed down and I won't even believe that.
Assuming that the owner was just done or he just didn't feel it anymore but thanks to Sulake is non sense and is not even true so dint even come with that cheap excuse.

I don't understand how you can doubt the legitimacy of the reasoning with all that has been happening over the past couple of months in regards to retros? I think it is every bit possible that the owner was contacted by Sulake.
You made me facepalm so hard. Do you think SkeetEmUp would give one of his sources if incomes up so easily? All the work going into Emulator development? That he would do that to his users our team? He (was/) is the #1 retro hotel.

I didnt say it was hosted on Sulakes Servers.
I said, check their website because you called it an excuse that they closed due to the reason of Sulake contacting them or something.
Im talking about checking Habpl.us website, since they put a notice about it up.
Big hotels should be prepared for the worst now since Habplus got took down then.
Guess people are going to host on off-shore servers now to keep the DMCA Away.
It has been said many times before that it doesn't matter where in the world you host your server, chances are that country has their own copyright laws so you are not protected.
Well for this is one word: I was wrong.
I can't really believe that Habbo / Sulake is really going to be bothered to take down retro's and what not as well that Habbo is probably going to make a special list to take down of popular retro's and therefore i'm shocked.
Anyway let's hope it isn't that bad as i think it is.
