I'm not behind Sulake and their operations against retro's but they would need to think next time because this sure was stupid to be honest.
Taking down Habplus he would need to take down Zap and other various popular hotels that where placed on the toplist or just take down the toplist and note all popular hotels and take them down afterwards would be a idea as well and would obviously work.
I think it's stupid to take down retro's they should at least give us something where we're able to build on like a short source and then we're able to show them what the players are capable of making for Habbo instead of crying when there is a retro online as well as a owner who've developed a emulator on its own.
Think? Think? They think about the damages and loss of users.
What would you do if you were in Sulakes position and you got fedup of people stealing your work time after time?
Yeah, 'kill the heart', they took down 0taku, and we figured a way round it, dcr-project got closed but someone opened a new crack website.
Its basically like ThePirateBay, their domain got seized and then got a DNS-Level blockade via ISP's, and so loads of people made proxies and also saved up a small backup of all the magnet links. And theres a good bunch of decent piracy sites out their if one goes down.
.....
Actually taking down HabPlus was actually stupid because you can take down one retro or two retro's but eventually there will be new methods to breach something and then they are back again and so it will move on day by day by day and Sulake never really seems to get tired.
I would be tired if i was Sulake because it sure is a hand full of work.
And still you have to click on the fucking duck to enter the website. That's so egoistic...
What did I say? Think before you post. The only thing they need to do is gather enough information for their legal departement to start a possible lawsuit. Then they send you a letter you need to sign, or they can take a lot of money from you. Now I don't know if SkeetEmUp already had to pay some sort of fee, but I'm sure they could have got money from him.
And by the way, ofcourse they don't get tired, they now actually put their legal department to work (or Elisa's).
Are you really goingnto repeat yourself over and over like I'm stupid?
I know that Habbo doesn't care what they do but they are just operating stupid and its not really making sense to be honest.
I'm pretty sure they had been developing PlusEmu 4 for a considerable amount of time (which is highly updated), they were almost ready to move over to it in fact.
It would be incredibly in-logical for Michael to create such conspiracy when he was profiting from Habplus.
HabPlus really was one of the best hotels out there, it was the only English hotel to be using post-shuffle and not go back after a day!
I think it is better for Jonteh to do the same but if he thinks he can hide forever I wish him good luck.
And eh,
Who's next?
Brazillian hotels still hosting 3K people each. They will need some kind of nuke to close them all
