    HabPl.us officially closed.

I'll post my legal docs if I'm allowed but I received the same as Jonteh requesting Habplus and PlusRP to go

If you think I'm a pussy then so be it. But closing a website which Is clearly illegal isn't a pussy move to me. I personally would rather close something now and begin to work on legal projects instead of wasting my time on a Habbo Retro that has no future. In the end Habbo will shut you down. Sure you may hide for a bit but you are never going to have a future running a Habbo retro.

But thanks guys. It's been fun and I've learnt so much from just creating Habplus. Never expected it to get this big so cheers for the support.

Common sense prevails. Well done for taking a step in the right direction and not fucking up your future over a stupid retro. Good luck on future projects.

I don't wish to sound rude here against Michael, but finally Sulake are doing something right. They've been wasting there time left right and center on these little hotels on which barely hit 30+ users online.. Now they've finally realized to go for the big hotels where the users are at.

The retro world is at it's darkest times in a long time. With Sulake sharpening there claws day by day.. The sk1dz going round and dicking on every hotel they find.. In my opinion the retro world could last longer then what it will, but it just ain't going to happen.

Long Live The Habbo Retro World. And Long Live HabPlus (I think it was like 3rd-5th hotel I ever joined.)

I agree. They are finally going after hotels like they should. Personally I think the reason they haven't before is due to the lack of funds it takes to actually get a case prepared. But since Sulake is now fully owned by Elisa which have a lot of money they have enough to spend to get rid of hotels.

You'll notice habbo is improving features, hiring more developers and actually trying to improve. Most of these changes have came since Elisa overtook them. Elisa can pump cash into habbo and can afford to persue legal cases.

Just never think you are safe. Most retros accept paypal and PayPal will happily give over your details to Sulake on request and I assume most retros have legit paypal details due to the fact there account would get limited otherwise.

I'm actually surprised that your accepting what has happened so easily. No one should fight over a habbo retro, it's not going to get you anything. You can't put it on your resume as it will look stupid as crap. You made the right decision following the orders set by Sulake. It doesn't surprise that PayPal would have over details straight away. With Habbo on the rise, the Retros on the fall.. What will happen next?

I have alot of respect for you, but if any retro accepts payments from users (Whether it be PayPal, PayGol, MoPay, etc..) is just wrong. Retros are ment to be free for a reason, I know it costs alot of money to run a retro.. But this is exactly the reason why most retro owners are going to get fucked up once Elisa kicks all the retros goodbye! No offence or anything.

Also heard from a big bird that someone has been reporting anyone releasing swfs and anyone working on emu's to run them. I will not mention who I heard this from, but if you don't believe me then so be it.

It sure is sad to see popular retro's fadenaway so fast just because Foolake peer pressures then to take their hotel down it's just sad and sad to hear.

Anyway i sure think that both of you are brave for just giving up there are people who either refuse or just don't want to give up on what they've worked on so hard.

I'm not in Habbo retro's anymore but my respect is here.

Anyway you and Quackster made both a very whise choice and you should rather be proud of both of you for making such choice as i do know that some people struggle or refuse to.
Thanks, but it wasn't a hard choice. I had nothing for me in the end, that was if I were to continue if I never got the letter.
