    So, what's new here?

I've been gone a LONG time. I gave up on retros shortly after the entire Otaku/Phoenix situation went down and my hotel (Hobba - had about 50,000 users) was hit with a DMCA.

Has anyone ever released something usable since Phoenix or is this section still filled with renamed emulators that suck?

    Whoah that's a name I haven't seen in a long time.

    Nope sums it up.

I'm currently working on an emulator. Dev thread here: forum.ragezone.com/f331/habbo-emulator-java-maven-netty-1027351

There has been one or two usable emus I mean Silverwave/PlusEMU was usable, Mercury is to an extent but yeah all renames still haha
But the only Development at the moment that I can actually see being finished to a good standard is the one that @The General
    is working on.

And nice to see you around still!

Most of this section still refers to the wonderful Phoenix Emulator, however it appears Azure is the rising star of this section, along with the development of "The General"'s Java emulator.

Why the quotes @Shorty? Got the feeling you think I didn't create it on my own or used some sort of base haha.

Well Azure is just a rename of butterfly. Nothing special.

To sum it up, it's been a few years of,
    "We need to do something."
    "Yeah, we should."
    "Yeah, that'd be awesome."
    "I can't wait, let's do it."
    -silence for a week-
    "Is anyone still doing this?"

To sum it up: I leaked Butterfly, edits came out, then Phoenix died out. There are stable servers, but they're older versions. I've seen 2,000+ online on Zap Hotel back a few years for days on end without noticeable lag.

Meh, GTE is stablest at the moment, lol. All those bflies and Azures are getting changed every month and never get completed.

I was on about before Phoenix "came back" if anything. The "top" hotels run off forks which all spawned from my leak as well.

The "top" hotels also suck balls, have extreme hyper-inflation, and have more corrupt staff members than all the world powers combined.

You're on about things out of the control of the server code. It's like saying all Honda drivers are homosexual, every driver is different, the car is itself special. Same goes with servers. But that's true, same goes with Habbo.com though, only worse.

I'm just being honest about the "top" hotels, sure, not all of them are exactly as I described, but they're either that or on the verge of becoming that. It's just the route that most hotels take at that level.
