So I've been part of the Habbo retro community for quite a while (~7 years). I quit in 2012 due to focusing in high school for university and now I'm a freshman in a university. I recently regained interest in running a retro. I miss the sense of community and just developing pages in general. When I was around, Phoenix was in but now it seems to be gone and I'm pretty sure reading 3 years of threads will be overwhelming. So I have a few questions, feel free to answer any:

- What is the new emulator that has replaced Phoenix's place?
- What developments has the retro community made?
- Have peoples motives change for the greater good?
- Does the community still do retros for profit?
- Has Sulake impacted the retro community?
- Is the retro community finally united?
- Has the retro community grown bigger?
- What do people look for in retros now?

If you'd like to address anything else I'd greatly appreciate it, any kind of information and or discussion is encouraged. I want an idea of what this community has gone to.

-Sulake has been at it on and off, they typically are shutting down more updated retros.
-I'm not quite sure what you mean by united.
-The retro community has dropped by at least 25% - 50%
-Honestly today users look for community size, from what it seems. I myself look for uniqueness seeing every hotel has the same look and features.

What hotels is the biggest? Fresh, Boon, Hab and what more?

- Probably Mercury. It's part of the rename chain but is pretty popular now.
- Check the development section. Some have been finished, some have become inactive and some have been released such as the IDK project.
- Not really.
- Of course it does! I'd love to see a day when the community isn't.
- Yep. They took down some popular hotels if you hadn't noticed.
- United? What do you mean? If you're talking about the community joining together and making something worth releasing, then no.
- Features and stability. The popular hotels are the ones with the most stable features these days.

- Has Sulake impacted the retro community? Not really. They took Aaron down. That's all.

- There's a few select developers such as @Sledmore @The General who are very close with Habbo's latest revision (a revision or two behind but still in this year), a lot of Phoenix renames and edits but mainly just useless commands.
- Nope.
- Yeah, most of the popular retros these days run to make money.
- No, they made a load of developers and such sign "cease & desist" contracts but they've mainly returned again so it was a waste of Sulake's time and money.
- No, it's still the same as it was two years ago.
- Yeah I think the community is growing but only as Habbo is changing for the worse (in some people's opinions).
- No idea, haven't been checking. Only just popped on today as I saw this thread =)
