    The next big emulator?

With the release of both Yupi Emulator and PlusEmu, it seems that Azure has been completely abandoned by the community. What do you think will be the next most used emulator? I know that PHX/Goldtree are also still standing strong, but I'm targetting the R63B emulators. Also why do you think a certain emulator will win the "battle"? Will it come down to features or stability?

I guess stability, an emulator without stability and much of features has a chance to crash or get hacked.

As far as I'm aware "Yupi" was based on azure and azure is known for not being the most stable emu on the internet, So for sure the best emu around at this time (R63B) or tho lacking the camera and in game forums is by far @Sledmore's edit of PlusEMU it is stable and dose have quite a few features that actually work not to mention it is safe to use... :)

I'm the developer of Yupi, and i say, Plus Emulator from Sledmore is really better, in fact the code is more cleaner, stability is better. Yes Yupi is based on Azure, but i want to rewrite the Emulator. Yupi has more features that Plus, stability also is really better than Azure. But in Stability terms and Perfomance Plus Emulator from Sledmore is really better.

Umm how the hell is Phoenix standing strong? Who uses it? Also did Aaron ever release the source code after he got into legal trouble?? The next big emulator is and will be PlusEmu Habboons edit., Yupi does come close is okay but most people honestly care about stability, so Plus.

    PlusEmu Sledmores edit FTW !

    Re: The next big emulator?

I don't know but no offense to Plus emulator which is one of the better emulators released these days but it's not hard because the concurrention isn't big, Azure is a mess so? But if we look to the maintainability of Plus it's very bad because there are large classes (most of the room handlers) what makes it harder to maintain and understand but there also good things implemented of Mango (I like the composer pattern). Im very sure if the code pattern of Mango get followed in the whole emulator it would be better. And some rewrites for unnecessary queries (most of chatlog part etc.). But if talk about security then is releasing your source a high risk, people can find faster weaknesses in your code, whats logic so I think if Sledmore released it he's very sure about its safety!

PlusEmulator is the best and famous one at this moment and will stay that for 3/4 months. With improved things Yupi can be the best. Btw, cool thread @Gaby ;)

That 'project' from @The General was just for showing off his skills and one big troll thread.

You have no idea where you're talking about when you talk about Arturus from @The General The people who are following his development know how strong his project is. When Arcturus is finished it will burn down all the other R63B emulators.

You're right. When Acturus will be finished probably will burn all other R63B emulators. But you're right too in one word WHEN.
I don't know if Wesley is continuing the Development, but the thread is closed. We have no access for further details or codes.

We threat closed source developments as not community friendly. Obviously i love hes Team Viewer's Meetings, he code very well.

But we really don't know if he will post this, and how he will help people to use it, will be free? paid?

We don't know. Also please don't say to others people shut up. You will not like someone say to you shut up only because have different opinions from you.

Also this thread is about the current released emulators that i can list:
    1. IDK
    2. Phoenix
    3. Gold Tree
    4. Mercury/Swift
    5. Plus Emulator
    6. Butterfly Emulator
    7. Azure Emulator
    8. Yupi Emulator

Correct me if more emulators (that the community know) aren't listed here..
(when i say community know, need to be popular, idk if Yupi is popular so if someone want to i remove from the list i will)

    Cheers,

On Topic to @The General, i didn't said i don't like your emulator. I really like it. And in my opinion is really A LOT better than any currently released emulator.

But the fact is ISN`T RELEASED. Here is a thread for current released emulators.

Also we don't know what you're doing in development, since is closed. You closed without any message about if the dev continues or not.

So please don't give a negative reputation comment saying "if you don't like it don't use", because i never said i don't like Acturus.

    Good luck for your emulator,
And please stop giving negative reputation or dislikes when you think someone don't like what you do. Because i didn't said i don't like.

Don't act like what i said in the negative rep that i gave to you, that is a friendly advise.
