I dont just code habbo :L
I have other projects I work on such as websites for businesses ;)

Also, you can set priorities, like I do. If somebody invites me to a party, I don't say 'no' because of coding, friends, family, job, crush go first, then my school, then my health and then coding. Nothing more.

Got your answer. I won't stop coding, since I am going to be an application maker later, just not with Habbo. Why do I develop retros? For fun, and to learn. And.. some people learn in 5 months, some in 3 weeks, some in 2 years, depends on the problem.
I'm not telling you to stop, I'm telling you to think about your future and what will happen when the section dies out/everyone gets arrested.

I think a corp won't be happy when they hear you do illegal shit..

Also, my future? Actually, I've already planned my future and none of the content contains 'Retro' or 'Habbo'. I might be stopping soon, or else next year, but soon, I'll quit.

Not everybody will be arrested, and the section will die if people continueing being selfish (I know some guys around and I won't call any names since it's unrespectfull business).

If we all together start a big project, it will be more succesfull than 10 small projects. But, everybody is selfish (the good coders, not talking about Quackster because he's actually a nice guy) and wants to show off how 'cool' they are, but that's not how it works. Even when you have snowstorm, camera, and w/e you want, it's still Habbo's content, illegal shit, doesn't make you cool.

Now I want YOU to think about THAT.

Get a life? You're stealing. Internet crime is JUST as serious as real life crime.

    Re: TheHabbos shutdown?

Why did he receive a DMCA for it? Is it because it lists Habbo retros or because it contains some Habbo images?

I noticed that the favicon is Habbo's icon and a default banner that is used to represent a hotel if no external image is provided are Habbo's images.

Josh told me that he purposely chose not to make TheHabbos/RetrosList on a Habbo based layout so that he couldn't get done for it.

Surely the actual site can't be illegal, that's like saying Google is an illegal service just because of the websites it indexes.

I've been receiving REAL DCMA's from Sulake for the past week. My hotel only averages 10 online?

DMCA again, it'll be back. Josh was looking for another host earlier, he'll get it sorted - if you use the API or link to votingapi.com you will still earn your votes anyway.

Because they're watching this forum too (Hey o/) and they see a hotel banner in your signature so they send you some DMCA. Got it?
