What does the community want/require in a CMS?

    Hey there,

As you might think from the name of the topic, I have a question about CMS's for a retro hotel. I am someone who really does want to contribute to the community, I've decided to create a cms, since my knowledge of languages like Java or C# is too minimal to make an emulator.

I've seen a lot of features, functions, code (and backdoors) but i have no idea what the people want. So, my question to you is: what would you like to see (and absolutely not see) in a cms, so that I, and with me some other people who decide on making a cms, can keep your wishes and opinions in mind.

Your suggestions might be about code, design, features, anything you can imagine.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions

    Finicky

Don't include your girlfriends nudes in the images folder, like other developers (maybe accidentally, idk?) have done.

Simplicity, in terms of both design and code.

I also suggest you make your code clean in general as I personally like to check for exploits and such,
and build on a CMS. (Dont take it personally even Rev had its exploits)

Some people like to have a porn section, like a tab, idk.... But I think a good cms is a basic cms, staff page, a Habbo feel to it also also a really good , a key point I believe, and oh an account settings page would be a great key.

You won't find that in this "community".
