Seeing all those old screens make me think wtf did Habbo do. It would be nice to see a fully working Oldskool server being released. I would prefer v13 including BB:Rebound. But to bad it won't attract a lot of users, or it would just be for a one time visit, though if all furni until now where there too idk I think that would work and attract more users.

If Habbo didn't start that faggot BETA version this would still attract users, blame Sulake ftw!

Agreed. I more or less totally lost interest in Habbo when they started merging over to the Flash-client. Not because of the client itself, but because the game was going in a different direction. I really enjoyed the old times.

By one hand i think the new RELEASES has more advantages such as more possibilities playing Habbo, but the terrible point of the Flash RELEASES is that the design and the new features lost all the originallity, i could see this last 3 years how Sulake was much more worried about the economy of the company without count with the opinion of the people, which sometimes is very important.

We're trying to complete Woodpecker V3 and is not easy, anyways the old Habbo will never die while people like me and some awesome people of this community will be continue having interest, i think the best ones made his work some time ago and is our turn, if it's necessary, i'll prefer to die trying it with HabboDavinci

Re: Will there ever be a completed oldskool emulator?

Why would you do that to a shockwave hotel? That doesn't instill the spirit of old Habbo. It's a nice achievement that the developer is able to modify the hotel in that fashion, but that doesn't make it an old school Habbo, nor does it make it any better than the flash client.

Your argument was that the "Flash RELEASES is that the design and the new features lost all the originallity", but you've modified Habbo's design way beyond it's originality, and you've actually added furniture from the latest versions. I don't understand what your point is.

    old school
    Noun
Used, usually approvingly, to refer to someone or something that is old-fashioned or traditional.

    mod·ern
    /ˈmädərn/
    Adjective
Of or relating to the present or recent times as opposed to the remote past.
    Noun
A person who advocates or practices a departure from traditional styles or values.

Those are two concepts in stark contrast. You can't be modern and old school...

Is exactly what Josh said, as you can see Dom, in the mayority of the images i preserved the old interface of Habbo Hotel with little changes (except in the first image), but i like some new furni collections of Habbo Hotel cause some users also love it, is a way of make a modern oldskool.
