They do bring the habbo section to a low level and they do should fuck off with their shit tutorials on how to make a hamachi R63 retro and their custom egg releases without shading or with shitty drawn faces on it and of course their help threads on where can I find SWFs!??!?!?!
I am definitely not an oldskooler, but I really get what you guys mean if you talk about "back in the days". Everything was just fine untill it has become possible for even a 9-years-old to run a retro.
Speaking of that, it would probably make quite much sense NOT to provide anything precompiled if someone would start coding again, so that those who want to use the code must at least know how to compile something... (As far as I can remember Holograph Emu often came without compiled exe files?)

You are still here, so I guess you are pretty stupid then?

The RZ Habbo community today just doesn't have that special touch. Not many people even play Habbo anymore, there are plenty of better games to play. People now want to play games with realism/HD graphics. No one is motivated enough to keep this section going. I see a lot of re-releases and unstable servers being released, it's just pointless.
A lot of companies are like this, they have their "special years" where they attract a lot of users but then eventually it becomes less popular as people find better things. I can give many examples, such as Myspace (people moved on to Facebook) and so on.
^ I completely agree with this statement.
I completely agree with this statement made. About 5-6 years ago, you, Nillus, and plentiful of others were around posting helpful threads that would help motivate some of the laziest people learn how to program, understand packet structure, etc. Now in these "modern times" everyone expects things to come to them freely without even laying a finger on the keyboard to layout some snippets to create their own little virtual world. Now you see "revisions of EDITS" and it's ridiculous. I'm not going to say I was the best developer known, but I wanted to help motivate those who were still here with me like Moogly, Joopie, and others that were still hanging on by the end of the rope. I honestly think it's a bit too late in time to even manage a resurrection to this section because it's gotten to deep into extinction.
Re: Your thoughts about the Habbo section now.
Just going to think back at the days that the Habbo section was pretty cool and when releasing wasn't much of a challenge on who can release things the best which is now a common-thing to be honest!
Anyway the Habbo section is dead and people are really wishing that the old people come back but that's never going to happen because they have moved on and they are in their eyes too old for this and I'm not disagreeing with them but it's pretty sad to hear.
Re: Your thoughts about the Habbo section now.
Can you children please contain yourselves? It's quite sadden you can't have a discussion without either one going off for some reason. Take it down a notch.
Re: Your thoughts about the Habbo section now.
We're no more a community. In the past we heled eachother and told others the new stuff you figured out. Now most people turned selfish and dont know about sharing is caring.
I've asked multiple people about getting packet structures from the sw and all of them told me 'Go figure it out yourself'.
I see people saying this sectionwon't die as there will come plenty of releasesbut I can tell you that if we do not stop being selfish cunts that this section becomes inactive.

My thoughts exactly on 99% of the Habbo community. Things used to be great 2011 and earlier. No one booted anyone, people could run a hotel with exploits through the whole CMS and never be hacked because no one was dick enough to do it even though there were probably plenty who could. Retros were fun, not money making machines so owners were nicer and things were way more community driven. People shared without thought of monetary gain and without the thought to add an exploit to gain users or an e-dick out of it.
It'll never be like that again, it's only going to get worse with time.. I'm glad the best have left & everyone else is struggling. Move on to better things.

This is quite true. If I opened up a private Habbo server right now, regardless of making profit or not, theres a huge chance it will get hacked within the first week. People always want to bring each other down and fight to be the best. It isn't working out very well.
Back in the days people did not want to hack each other (just a few exceptions) most people created scripts/hacks for the real Habbo. I don't know why people started turning on each other now... lol

So tell me, who of those lurkers aren't even posting and let the section die?

People who're lurkers:
Rene31c, HabboGee, Joe Richardson, Jones2301, Fenturr, Mike Sant, Ipod500, Rocco Napoli, MrSpooks, BabboST, MattyiNolt, SChrisS, Breyk07.... to many to sum.
OEPS, busted....

Hey come on man Iv'e been posting as much as i can, And i use to make make a fue customs in the past + released the current habbo index, I mean I'm not going to sit here and say yeah I'm some pro coder or anything and no I cant code an emu, But if i can help some one out i will do.. I'm not a lurker >:
Ontopic:
To many renames and alot of devs being uploaded with back doors/shells,
after that The good developers just stoped as the ones that do add the back doors are just giving the good developers a bad name,
and now there are to many kids attempting to set up retros...
And not to mention people grow up and get bored of developing in the habbo section and move on to better things..
But yeah i guess every one is open to there own opinion!
Thanks Jim.

Not to start an e-War or any type of commotion, but you were one of the ones that would release products there were infected am I right or am I right? That rCMS release to be exact. Jonteh, you was one of the main ones who would attack hotels just to gain that e-Fame for your hotel to become the greatest since "EliteRoyale". So if you are the one that's ironically speaking about how hotels were, you're contradicting yourself. The only reason you don't have Zap Hotel anymore is because you've gained all of the funds that you could possibly have gained and you've decided to retire on a good note.
