Loved the demo, it was awesome, everything about it was just amazing, it felt perfect.

Anyway pre-ordered the Limited Edition (some stuff including a statue of Big Daddy), so i'm hoping to get it the 24th.

If you preordered it from gamestop.com it should come the 24th. At least i know they promised me it'd come the 21st. If you preorded it in a regular store it depends whether or not they got the shipment and how they work. I know i've sometimes been to a store, asked to buy the game (on the date it supposed to be out), but they say they can't sell it until the next day. dunno wtf is with that.

I'm from the Netherlands, the release date here is like you said the 24th, and here they just shipped LE's to all the shops and webshops, i pre-ordered mine from a webshop as none of the regular shops had it listed for pre-order (no idea why not)
Anyway i'm still not 100% sure because even though they promised me 1 and said they would get enough, other webshops pulled it off their site because they weren't sure about the number that they would get.
I must have the LE, i simply must.

This is fucking ridiculous. Toys R Us all over the states are starting to sell them today because they are utterly retarded and know shit about games. Well i'd be happy except i want the LE and i already have it preordered online. Well hopefully GS starts shipping and selling them early too because once the street date is broken only the company who initially broke it gets fined and everyone else can sell it early. I swear i better have my LE in front of my doorstep tomorrow or Thursday morning. To think i actually have a chance to play it before going on vacation is just orgasmic.

Hey does anyone know if the pc version releases at the same time as the 360 version? I googled a bit and it said it would come out on may 2007. But that doesn't make sense to me.

yeah played the demo, In MY opinion i didnt think it was that great, I felt like an Idiot running around with a Wrench for a while, until I got ahold of the magic and the guns then it got intresting but the demo ended. I'll probably rent it first. and see of I like it.

I've read about this game and seen videos. I'm greatly considering buying a 360 since I don't want to spend lots of money on a new computer (as I KNOW mine wont be able to run it efficiently)

Nah the PC version didnt get "leaked" as early as the 360 one. I think only like 2-3 people got their hands on the PC one early. And i know Alfons got it for the 360 as i saw the DL and i know his box is haxxed.

Bioshock was released for 360 on the 18th in america,thats where i downloaded it from.
Just downloaded the pc demo,it rocks,especially DX10

Yeh, unfortunately my 360 broke at the wrong time, so I never got to play the demo on 360. I just downloaded the PC demo version a few hours ago, and so far from the demo things look great, just waiting for it to arrive at my house in a few days now XD. I really love how interactive everything actually is, but you didn't get the super cool telekinesis in the demo, damn, that would really show off the interaction!

Bleh my pre-order of the LE is going to take longer, they (and other webshops) didn't get the right amount in right away, so there has to be another shipment. I'm guessing they messed up due to the size of the box and all, thinking they could do it in a single truck or whatever.
