I disagree.

I love the online in Gears 2 SO much more than in Gears 1.
In Gears one, the shotgun (which is meant as a SECONDARY weapon) was faaaaaaaaaaaar to overpowered/used. The lancer was always meant to be the primary weapon. When do you see a war where all the soldiers are just running up to each other with shotguns? The lancer always took MUCH more skill to use than the shotgun.
The 2 things I dislike about GoW 2's multiplayer, are the smoke grenades are really over-used (they shouldnt knock you down for THAT long), and the chainsaw. The chainsaw is really messed up right now. I'll shoot people from like 2 meters away when they're revving the chainsaw, and they still manage to chainsaw me instead of losing the rev. It's as if you get sucked into the chainsaw. They just need to fix those 2 things in my oppinion.
