Also, shotguns were meant to be way less powerful. They hated how people in Gears one were using only shotguns thats why.

I've got GoW 2, very good game. But the online multiplayer is kinda fucked up .. when you go online you've got Matchmaking etc. like in Halo 3. You can't search for an existing game etc.
heh i dont mind the match maker i guess it helps with ppl who would try to play the same ppl over and over again now they made it where u cant do that inless they are in same party as u the story mode itself is far beyond that of that first one heh.

Love the freakin story as well as multiplayer.
Already beat all 50 waves of horde, 2nd day I had it (with 2 of my buddies on live) but only on normal.
tbh GoW 1 rocks for multi-player,and GoW2 has a good campaign. considering maybe im a MLG GoW1 player, maybe im just hating change but i just enjoy GoW1 alot more. GoW2 is as is they tried to hard on multiplayer and killed it.
maybe single player is important to you guys, in that case it rocks, but if your like me and a Live ADDICT, like only playing games for live, i suggest you dont get it as epic screwed the online play. period.

I love the online in Gears 2 SO much more than in Gears 1.
In Gears one, the shotgun (which is meant as a SECONDARY weapon) was faaaaaaaaaaaar to overpowered/used. The lancer was always meant to be the primary weapon. When do you see a war where all the soldiers are just running up to each other with shotguns? The lancer always took MUCH more skill to use than the shotgun.
The 2 things I dislike about GoW 2's multiplayer, are the smoke grenades are really over-used (they shouldnt knock you down for THAT long), and the chainsaw. The chainsaw is really messed up right now. I'll shoot people from like 2 meters away when they're revving the chainsaw, and they still manage to chainsaw me instead of losing the rev. It's as if you get sucked into the chainsaw. They just need to fix those 2 things in my oppinion.
