New avatars I still hate the idea, I donno really why but it makes my blood boil. But everything else is alright I guess.

not liking the new avatars either. Also hate the fact that half of the background is just boring old grey.

They have announced though that any dashboard themes you have will work for the new update.

I can't remember where I saw it, but I have seen it in action.

Please don't tell me this is compulsary, I really, REALLY, don't like this new update. The whole avatars thing is basically alot like PlayStation Home and all in all, the current dashboard does a grand job.

Unfortunately, it is compulsory...

There was a rumour that the avatars could be disabled but I don't think that made it so far.

Mm that is indeed a sexy theme. I honestly love the current dashboard. This update seems to change it way too much and make it too pretty and silly. I know that all my old themes will still work and whatnot and there is supposedly a possibility of disabling avatars, but still. I'd like it to look a little less kiddy and I'd like my theme not to be pushed out to only half a screen by a giant grey ball.
