Man this game is the f'in shit. Who has the demo? I played it for 2 hours (which is quite long for a demo) it allows you to do 4 player co op over 2 chapters. It's just so much fun because the unexpectable can happen.

My friend has the demo, and he says its well worth it.
I can't wait to get my paycheck so I can pick this up (virtually, of course).

Pre-ordered it so I've been playing the demo. Its bloody awesome. Can't wait for the release.
Thing i don't get is the pre-ordering just to TRY out the demo...
I would prefer if they let us play the demo before actually buying it..

Yeah this release is going to be amazing. I can't wait to play the actual game. Demo is fucking ace.
The option is there. I pre-ordered the game a few weeks before release for the discounts and I know quite a few people that will get the game also.
But to answer, the demo will be free to everyone on the 11th, then removed for release on 16th. (I think isremoved on the 16th, not sure.)

I don't have an XBOX, only PS3. I don't like playing games on my PC tbh, well shooter ones anyway.

TBH that is the most useless post, as for the game i hope it comes on disc for pc hate purchasing online

A few guys in my CSS clan seem to play the demo more than any other game now, it's just got to be ace.
The game is very good if you have co-op. I personally thought that the game was going to be horrible since it is only like 20 maps, and the same maps are used for co-op and single player. I have to say I was actually surprised. There are a few pet peeves that I have, like it is hard to tell where you are once you get attacked by a group of zombies, but I guess they are trying to be a little more realistic.
I was playing it with a friend on PC. He was in his room with the lights off, had his door shut, and headset on so he couldn't hear anything. We are in the middle of a zombie rush, and I start hearing him yell. I asked what happened after the rush, he said his sister came into his room and touched his hand, which caused him to freak out.
One of the cool things about the zombies is how aware they are where you are at. In the teasers they were showing zombies jumping over cars and such, but that is just the start of it. One part of the game there is a car that if you set off the alarm, the zombies will rush to the sound, and attack anyone around it. In addition to the zombies there are also other "dark" creatures. One of the boards is in a subway, as we are walking along we hear a baby/person crying . It turned out to be a wrinch, who if you "disturb" she attacks you. There is also a more powerful zombie that reminds me of Nemisis from the RE series.
Overall the game is very tense, even when playing it through a few times since the zombies attack from different places.
I enjoyed the demo on steam a LOT...but I'm just wondering how good it can really be, and how long the fun would actually last....that's my only problem at the moment.
And yeah mygearis I loved facing the witch and the tank, best two zombies i've seen so far...freaky as hell, and require teamwork to rape.
Here's a few command codes.
Console commands
sv_cheats 1 - Must be done first for any of these to work.
god 1 - Enables god mode - cannot be hurt
noclip - Enables/disables flying around
nb_blind 1 - Makes the zombies unable to see you (they can still sense when you touch them)
nb_delete_all - Clears all infected/infected bosses/Survivors
z_add - Adds a single infected. We bound this to a key to do the above video.
z_spawn bossname - Spawns a boss infected at your crosshairs. Put whatever boss name you wish: tank, boomer, smoker, witch, hunter
give weaponname - Equips your with that weapon
cl_drawhud 0 - So you can't see the HUD
r_drawviewmodel 0 - Makes your weapon invisible
z_common_limit <really big number> - Increases the amount of common infected the director is allowed to use at any given time.
director_panic_forever - Panic events (car alarm, mini-finale) don't end until you reach the safehouse, they just keep coming.
director_force_panic_event - Starts a panic event, as though you had set of the car alarm or something.
For those of you who want to try a sort of "survival mode" you can use these to increase the number of common infected, and then cause an endless attack for you to defend against. In combination with the "give <weapon>" command, I've tried setting up on the roof of the appartment building with a few friends, fun as h311.
It seems just like another kill, run, get weapon, kill, run type of game. But then again demos only give you the good parts of a game
The demo was the freaking bomb, can't wait until the release.

I have yet to play the game; but from what I've read about it. It's a game where you are killing zombies. Now as one of those games; are you REALLY going to be looking for a deep or meaningful plot line? Somehow I am not quite sure that will be in this game :/
