Btw dotn get a ps3, i have a friedn who works for sony waste of money, they lost ea sports and capcom, reson is they wanted to raise price of games to $80, also they are stoping blue ray this month, its costin too much money. 360 is coming out with a upgraded 360 120 gig w/hd drive for $400 thsi summer and will drop other 360s by $100 each
Good thing that I plan on getting a 360 & PS3, Sony losing Capcom is no reason to not buy a PS3... MGS, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy, GTA, Resident Evil 5, they're all worth it.Quote:

And it is for both the xbox 360 and PS3. They have said it many times that it's going to be released on both systems at the same time.
The PS3 and xbox 360 versions will be slightly different. Each one will have a few base extras that are different and will have loads of downloadable extras that will be unique for each system.
Umm... Sony hasn't lost EA sports or Captom. Hell I have Madden 07 for the PS3 and that's from EA sports and lets not forget about Madden 08 which is comming out for it also and a few other EA games.Quote:

And where did you read that they are stopping BluRay? They have no plans on doing it at all. They have repeatedly said that. Also if they did that then how would will all the BluRay games play on it? I know people will be mighty pissed when playing RFoM and having to swap out DVDs to play it as it's over 17gb of data.
And who knows when the price drop of the x360 will be. And sure they are releasing a 120gb HDD. But knowing MS they will charge $199 for it as they already charge $99 for a small 20gb which only costs $40. And you can also upgrade any PS3 to a 120gb HDD easily or even a 200-400gb ones if you want. The PS3 isn't bound to a certain HDD size and you can easily upgrade.
The PS3 may be expensive but it's worth it. A very powerful and quiet system and you do get your money's worth if you have an HDTV as the BluRay already comes with it.
It's actually cheaper then the x360 in ways. You can get a xbox with a 20gb HDD and a HDDVD player and that will cost $600 compared to the 20gb version of the PS3.
Then if you were to compare it to the $600 one it will loose out in features. The PS3 will then have a larger HDD for the same price, built in WiFi for the same price (costs $99 more for the xbox 360), and also you get a memory card reader which the xbox 360 doesn't even have.
So the PS3 is worth it, but only if you are in the HD craze especially when a normal BluRay player costs $1000.
