Main story isn't that long. Only about 20-30 hours. Then again if you are trying to do all the side quests at the same time its going to take you ages. Took me 10 hours to nearly take over all the territory. O.O

Xbox 360 for the win.
I like my games backup-able.
Plus, the 360 gets 2 extra downloadable chapters for the game :D
I work at a game stop and we have the advertising for gta 4 and its only for 360,
the 2 trailers were the ones shown at e3 2006
Well GameSpot, GameFAQs, and IGN says it exists.
Grand Theft Auto IV for PS3 - Grand Theft Auto IV Playstation 3 - Grand Theft Auto IV PS3 Game
Grand Theft Auto IV Info - Grand Theft Auto IV Information - Grand Theft Auto IV Release Date
IGN: Grand Theft Auto IV
Even the store you work out is taking Pre-Orders for it. ;)

You can also preorder it at....

And if there were 2 trailers. Then where are they? Come on and show the proof?
And like I said before. If you are going to say something then you better have some info to back up your claim.

lol i work there we have no advo sayin that we are havin it lol, i only go by what we get sent in emails and stuff
Take a look into your computer systems. It's there in the list of upcomming games. I've seen them hanging all around the EBGames and GameStops around here and not to mention they have printed me out a dozen sheets of the release dates for upcoming PS3 games and GTA IV is right there with the 10/16/07 release date. ;)

it should have come out on Wii to (best games console imo), but i guess ill have to bring out the 360, is that release date you said world wide or just in America or Britain?
-.- Come on seriously... Only for 360 and you working at Game Stop. First off, Game Stop haven't even received any advertising regarding the game. Rock Star has made this game secret from the public, no one knows anything about it but we can only base it on rumors. It is out for PS3 and 360 as far as I know and as far as my resource tells me. (I work at GS too.)
E3 2006, Had nothing related with this game. Why? First. I was there. Second. People thought the new series was the end until the end of November.
Lastly, I was a big GTA Fan. Used to love the game but not anymore. The theme of the game died when everyone started copying it. Almost all original ideas have been taken by games like Saints Row, Crackdown etc. I don't think this GTA will pull out any goodies either. Most likely few customization and (objects-maps, quests, cars etc.)
Yeah it really sucks how there are so many clones out there. And the worst part about it. They suck in comparison with GTA, and that just makes GTA look bad as the others are so bad. -.-

Just got a chance to see the trailer after waiting for 2 hours. The official site is too crowded so saw it from Xbox Official Site.
The Graphics looks fantastic, the best I have seen so far. From what I see, the story takes place in New York (Something original since its a real city). The character from my point seems like Mexican, since he says he sold allot of people and smuggled allot of them as well. The details put into car, lighting and overall all off the New York is just amazing.
i still find it funny how it counts down to the trailer not the actual game. anyway the trailer looks pretty good. not sure if i'll be getting it tho. depends on moeny and how busy next fall is.
PS: he definitely isn't mexican. He's more Slavik. Most likely Russian, Yugoslavian, Polish (really cool fi tru since i'm polish :P), or soemthing to that effect. def a Slavic accent, mroe Russian than anything. Anyway I hope they give you the whole city not just "Manhattan". thats not the whole city, all five boroughs are the city. I wanna find mah house ingame lol.
Its not just going to be Manhattan.
From my prediction it is most likely going to be something like this plus more:

Its hard telling what the guy really is: The top thing coming to my mind is Mexican, Cuban then Russian. Hopefully, I am right. And by the way. Anyone noticed the vivid details in Times Square?
