Nice graphics, I hope its gonna be a big map. Although the animations if you do a mission always look horrible, and the gun sounds in SA were bad. Hope they're better now :)
In that screenie looks it's gonna be a very high system requirements.
GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas all used the same engine, which was optimized for the PS2, now it will use a brand new engine which is way better (you gotta understand that GTA 3 was pretty much their first step in 3D for Rockstar), and unlike with previous consoles, the Xbox 360 and the PS3 are really powerful, so PC users will have high quality textures and all aswell.
Finally, alot of games you can play on pc and console are often bad in pc. Tony hawk, GTA (better than tony hawk, but still not next gen), mario LOL. Well you get the point, thats why I like pc-only games ^^,

GTA 4 will be best on the 360 anyway, Microsoft paid a sick amount to get 2 exclusive expansions.

Yeah true. But with a PC you can do more than just games, like stuff for school (oh thats not a good argument LOL), and I like coding, modelling, making music and all that sort of stuff.
I also like the game controls for PC better, but I guess thats just what you're used to.
It's not being released for PC. Only for Xbox 360 and PS3. Even if it would be released for the PC, usually you would have to wait a year later after it is developed for the consoles.
in terms of PC vs console for this its all in preference really. if you're used to the console controls and aiming (like i now am) then get it for the 360 as it probably will run better unless you have a nice PC. if you like using the old board and mouse for shooting and all that (like i used to prefer) then get the PC version. not a hard choice really. you should know which you prefer.
Yeah, a pitty those games are made for console, and sometimes just emulated in PC. Tony hawk said in PC version that you had to press A or X buttons...and no, those were for console, they just 'forgot' (lazy) to change it.
yea i love it when that happens cuz its a laugh lol. but GTA has been made for the PC before and i'm sure that both the PC and 360 version will be good. the 360 version will have exclusive extras tho :)
an example of a game on both 360 and pc that has been ruined is Overlord. the controls are supposedly horrible for PC. Anyway i doubt that GTA will be this way.

Anyway GTA games are my favorite, each one gets better and better. Im sure this one will smoke the others :)
why would you need to upgrade to a Bluray? the 360 doesn't use bluray and its running GTA.
Almost all PS3 games I seen all have Bluray on the cover. I don't know how they are going to do things with computers now that games are getting bigger. Just figured it would be another money scam, buy the bluray player to play new games.

As i said in my post GTA is not jsut on the PS3 which is the only gaming system to use bluray. the 360 uses DVDs, and for a PC they can include 2 or 3 CDs for installation. Very simply. Since when has there been fear of Bluray being needed for your comp?

liberty city stories is acctually a psp version of gta which came out on ps2 aswell with just a few changes

Is gta going to be multiplayer too? so that you dont need to download patches from some guys who made a multiplayer version ^^

Why would Rockstar/Take Two do that, they don't care if Blu-Ray succeeds or not. It's way bigger then DVD, and i believe that right now with multiple layers they can already get upto 200 gig on a disc.Bluray? Can those disks contain even more data than a dvd?
DVD has 2 layers right? Now I remember, I read some article about bluray :), would be nice for external 'disk'
Man, I still have a game on 7 floppy disks LOL, valhalla for amiga ^^. Those new next gen games probably will need 2 dvd's, I guess...
