Hello 9D Players!

We are pleased to announce that Closed Beta is coming to a successful end. Remember, we're keeping 9Dragons free, and to do that we need your continued support! And now we hope you will agree that it's time to welcome everyone else out there into The Land of 9Dragons. Yes, it's time for Open Beta.

We expect to invite Closed Beta testers back into the game a day or two ahead of everyone else to do a quick internal check of the Open Beta client. Watch the Message board for updates and we will do our best to keep you informed and answer all questions.

We will also be launching Open Beta with just four starter clans, not six. Why, you ask? Because there will be two special events (with awards) to unseal those remaining two clans and we need to test that process as well. Also, there has been great speculation regarding the PK (Player Kill) servers. We will begin Open Beta with only Pleasant Servers, and then add our first PK server shortly thereafter. However, there will be a PK zone added to the game, called Bloody Plain, where anything goes.

- Closed Beta officially ends on Monday Dec 11th at 11pm (PT): 9Dragons servers will be shut down from Dec 11th to Dec 18th so we can prepare for the next phase, which will be:

- Pre-Open Beta starts around Monday Dec 18th: New client download. This is the initial phase of OB testing when we plan to begin inviting Closed Beta testers back in to check that all updates are running smooth, followed soon after by invitations to all registered users, until:

- Open Beta starts around Wednesday Jan 10th: No planned shut down, just a patch update.

These dates may be subject to change, so check the message board for updates. Again, thank you for your help, your patience and continued support. We look forward to seeing all of you in The Land of 9Dragons very soon!
