More fixes:
AoK HD.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility
check "Disable visual themes" and "Disable desktop composition"
Both have proven to fix the low FPS issue.
Trust me, you'll want to do this. It's a drag playing an old game like this < 20FPS :P Even the most beast rigs have this issue atm

I didn't buy it for new graphics but for renewed multiplayer but their shitty early bugs killed it off. If I could get a refund I would, it still over heats and crashed my pc lol!

For a devout follower of the game...I would say yes buy it. But if you are looking for the game you love with better graphics (as stated in the "HD Edition") I would say no...it really looks the same to me....multi-player is fun but gets old fast.
