Are you addicted to a game?

Cba reading the thread, but to the topic title, im sort of addicted.
well you judge.. ive been playing Gears Of War since the day it came out on 360, and still playing it now.

come on why take it really literal when you know what way it was being implied...

A game you play a hell of a lot, and you find yourself keep playing it. why do you feel the need to TRY and be a smartass.. who cares exactly what the word addiction means, why say it here, are you that desperate to show off that you know something?

Why imply it? This is an Addiction Topic video games or Not, a Video Game Addiction is a State of Mind or just isnt an addiction at all. I put 20+ hours on CoD4 in a week. its not an Addiction. I just like to play CoD4 alot.

I like playing CoD4 a lot and I used to be like game addicted to habbo and runescape like It was almost like I had to play it

Thats what it was like for me with habbo a couple years back. easy to quit though ^^.

long ago - Mortal Kombat 2 on Amiga :) Fatalities? Babalities? psh... couldn't be easier. also joystick breaking was damn easy :p

recently - World of Whorecraft. Failed my studies because of this game. i could come back from classes at 2pm and play till 5 am next day... that was SICK, but i got bored in the end.

No, It's an Issue....

I'm very shifting in games.
I usually play a game for around a month, then I get bored ..
Then a few months (and a few games, yes) after, I go to a friend or something, and I see: 'Hey, that game is still pretty cool' and I do that again.
That's about my loop =x

I basically had the same current / past 'addiction'..
I played Habbo for a while, then realised how retarded it was..
I too played Runescape, then it got boring... couldn't be bothered clicking that much.

And now i'm lumbered on my Xbox 360;
Call of Duty four, Guitar Hero 3, Fifa 08, and suprisingly; Condemmed 2...

I'm hooked on Call of Duty 4, but it's such an epic game!

I'm accidted to Halo 2, Portal and TF2 atm.
They are brillant games, I suck at all them atm.

FFXI for 2 years has been my addiction, now i'm kinda slowing down, and most likely quiting it soon.

I was hooked on wow for 2 years - everyday i was playing except the odd saturday nite i went round town - i could rack up 80/90 hours a week without a problem - if that isnt an addiction then i dont know wht is
