me not very into MMO but I once addictived to Counter Strike very much, about 10 hours a day 6 days a week and it lasted for over one and half year. Since I gratuated school I have to quit my addiction :(

Ragnarok Online. I might quit when I've played all the classes. At this rate that'll be 3 months with servers dieing after xx weeks.

I was addicted to WoW some time ago, my addiction last like 2 years or so. It was crazy addition.
But some time ago I eventually quit WoW, I dunno why tho, just got a bit boring or I don't know, but now I'm happy.
BTW, now I have a new addiction - BMX :)
i wanna be addicted to a game but i cant find a game that i wouldnt mined spending hours apon hours on ....... but yeah 3/12 years ago muonline i loved that game

Used to be crazily addicted to L2 and then GW. Now the game i can really get easily addicted to once i start playing them are Guitar Hero, Halo and Ninja Gaiden.
I was addicted to habbo for a good 2 years, i live in a small town so theres not much to do. after I quit that, I picked up a 360 when they were released. and been addicted to CoD4 ever since :P
Let me fix that. I played habbo Too much. as Rish said in his other post you cant be addicted to a game.

Never been addicted to games, more addicted to the internet in general, I usually play games for around 5 hours and get bored, shame really.
I usually get addicted to a game for a while, then I give up and then do something else. '_'

Nope, I can't play ANY game for more than an hour - but generally I play a game for 20-30 minutes then get bored of it.

Some would say an Addiction would to do that of which your addicted to in "Excess" I have had arguments with a friend of mine on this topic regularly when ever it comes up. and we always come up to the answer, its an Addiction of Excess ammount of doing it. An "Addiction" can only be used to describe a biological substance. Why? Because of the chemicals in it, it actually has a physical effect on the body, especially in the form of withdrawal symptoms when you try to stop it. Why imply it? This is an Addiction Topic video games or Not, a Video Game Addiction is a State of Mind or just isnt an addiction at all. I put 20+ hours on CoD4 in a week. its not an Addiction. I just like to play CoD4 alot.

I like playing CoD4 a lot and I used to be like game addicted to habbo and runescape like It was almost like I had to play it
Thats what it was like for me with habbo a couple years back. easy to quit though ^^.

long ago - Mortal Kombat 2 on Amiga :) Fatalities? Babalities? psh... couldn't be easier. also joystick breaking was damn easy :p
recently - World of Whorecraft. Failed my studies because of this game. i could come back from classes at 2pm and play till 5 am next day... that was SICK, but i got bored in the end.

I usually play a game for around a month, then I get bored ..
Then a few months (and a few games, yes) after, I go to a friend or something, and I see: 'Hey, that game is still pretty cool' and I do that again.
That's about my loop =x
