Astronoid : online spaceships racing from canyons to space at 2000 km/h

So, here's a proposition, let's say I'll create a "ragezone's members game" at midnight GMT (1AM for me :), that's in 9 hours... (7PM in New-York)
Please let me know if you will come to play (that would be great :) , because if we are 8 to want to play, I shall call the game "ragezone's member only" to be sure nobody is left behind :) , because otherwise, people will come and connect on our game (limlited to 8 players).

That would be so great (there's nobody at those hours, I always play alone :( )

If you prefer to choose another hour, just tell it :)

Hey Pollux, I forgot to tell you I've translated a part of the french forum about "connection to server failed", it's not finished (the article is quite long), but you can already find lots of infos if you want to see what the problem may be with your computer.

I played it but its a fine game but I wait that the developers release some more..
I main the game-engine is cool that racing only where they must work for is:

1. Background sounds (now you only hear your ship)
2. Much more and funny levels
3. More different game types

If they fixed this then I would start playing again maybe :)

First of all, thank you for trying the game and giving feedback about it :)

1 - Backgroud sounds : You must have had a problem with your computer, because background sounds includes explosions (did you play in killkill mode ? we're they any other competitors), weapons shooting, shield, but you can also hear spaceships that are around you (you can even here them scratiching on walls, shooting or exploding, etc), that's why I think you probably had a problem...

2 and 3 - They're already lots of different mode : you must have tried, "solo", "race" and "killkill"
But there is also a professional mode called "frag n'pass" where you must shoot a competitors before being allowed to pass a gate. But the best is in champion federation, "power up" mode, you have normal gates for the race, but also optional gates where you can have weapons, shield, boost, mines, etc. A sort of huge killkill mode :)
There's more strategy in this mode because you have to decide which strategy you choose...
We're you more than 5 people on tracks when you played ? Because otherwise the game looses a lot of its interest...
Sure I agree with you, it would be cool to have other modes, and, as the developpers listen to all that we, players can say on the forum, any idea is welcome :)

Then, there are lots of funny other levels (tracks and planets), such as asteroid, big planet with loopings, narrow canyons, tunnels, etc. And I know developper are always working on new levels and ideas. Really, there's a big variety of tracks (from easy to very difficult).

I think that's an important point. It's an independant studio, their game is already great, all is ready and the gameplay is fantastic (and I think it's the most important thing).
If we're lots of players they will probably be able in a short future to improve the game and propose lots of new things regularly. If not, the game wil stay as it is.
So if everybody thinks like you, there's a great potential but I'll wait it's better to play it, you will wait for nothing ;)

If we, gamers, don't support small innovative studios, who will ???

And as I said, the developper really listen to every suggestions we players can do. So if you have ideas about this, just go on astro's forum and tell them all that :)

You should really have another try when there are more than 5 players on a killkill game, you'll see, it's great fun :)

What's your ID so we could have fun together on servers (if you're ok with the idea), what time would be cool for you ?

PS : So, everybody, when do we organize a RZ game on astro ? It would be great fun, like in the quarter million topic, you could chat, but you ould also destroy each other (lol) and race...

hmm...

I mean with background sounds (i hear ships etc.) but what I missing is background sound you know you hear it by NFSMW and other race games that are they missing..
But I not really know what they missing but they missing 1 importend thing. (might it is no feeling of speed or it not feel it is real I have no idea) I give it a 6/10 and when they fix the thing I missing it will be a 9/10

Thanks for that comment, it's really cool to read this... because I sometimes think I did all this work for nothing...
But when I'm on server with someone I helped to discover this game, I'm really happy and remember why I did all this.
