the originall neocron. I would play that game till i died. But with neocron 2 out, I dunno. Didnt try it but wish I had a job to pay for it.

Dr=oviously sucky graphics but that was the only game where i felt i could really make ANYTHING from any char class(battle mage,battle priest looked so cool using their rod like martial artists,mage archers or thieves were fun i even seen an orison champion,no hp but funny with pray and such spells)lvling was good(no 2days/lvl like some others)and it was incredibly easy to find a full party,also pvp was incredibly good too,i remember these wars with 500+ ppl.i got addicted for almost 2 years on DR
Talesweaver=one of the best skill systems ive seen so far allowing lot of customization,great 2d gfx(im an ol' skooler:p)the chapters concept is great(making u feel sometimes u play an offline rpg and uncovering little by little the global storyline and developping char backgrounds)Uberness of many skills,the fact that u can really feel like a powerhouse(being able to solo 20+mob at once is fun,i just hate these games where ur FORCED to team to expect getting more than 1xp/kill)many funny events,godly items and so on,and a really nice community(not so true now but whatever...)and the combo system is great too,total greatness:p TW 4 evah
lineage 1 is 2d n stuff but its the best :D.
Lineage 1 is one of the best gameplay wise. Although NC makes the rates so stupid that at some point it takes 1-2months minimum to reach the next level.Quote:

Nobody here has really played it, but SWG was FUN during the first couple monthes. After that it got boring and reptative. Seriously, you would enjoy it for a couple of monthes. But once you get a master elite, it goes downhill. There IS the option to go jedi, but it is no fun doing the grind. At least if you EVER do get it, it is VERY enjoyable :D
Edit: The MOST fun I ever had with a RPG is Neverwinter Nights. I didn't exactly enjoy single player, but I LOVED multiplayer PW Worlds. I played on Aventia, and watched it "Grow Up" (*Sniff* They grow so fast!).
If you ever want a classical and VERY enjoyable summer of role playing action, buy The Neverwinter Nights Platinum pack, install, go online, and play on the Aventia servers. (Oh I made a couple of areas for the server, mostly newbie ones, I loved the toolkit and the ability to submit the areas to the DM's and GM's to PUT on the server, NOW THAT IS CUSTIMIZATION!)

Well I wouldnt say mu is shity for a free game teh grafics are quite good its boring for a few reasons "No skill tree, no quests, dumb story, maps locked, lots of hackers and a few other things" But if you never tryed it I recomend try a privet server not global.

Well Mu-online was an awsome game it was my first ever online game infact first ever time i was online with broadband. i just saw a pop-up from it ....too old now, and same goes LOM tho for the young i suggest lom i played it a long time ago on my big bros comp when LOM1 was brand new lol...! but Times have moved on To WOW !!! and LINEAGE 2 these are the greatest if ur looking for suming less graphical mayb Ragnarok but does get abit boring.....
by 10/10 i suggest BOTH Lineage 2 and WOW :)

MU Global
Good sides:
1. Easy to play
2. Simple, I dont have time to run from a NPC to the other 3times to make 1quest.
3. ATM still free
4. And most of all, NO STUPID RESETS.
Bad sides:
1. Hackers (like most MMORPGs)
2. Soon p2p ( I think... no money to throw around :P )
It's my opinion you dont have to like it. Private Servers are kinda crap. It's true what people say around here. MU is boring because you only kill the same moobs to get more and more levels. Equipment doesn't matter that much. Maby they think like that because they never got far in global and they base their opinions on PrivateServers?
Global is challenging despite the fact that there is only a few armor sets and items in general. You see it takes you hell lot of time to get those most rare parts. Most MMORPGs are about quests but I don't like talking to my PC.... it's silly. In MU you can kill monsters for fun ;) the only reasons I need is, to find items, exp and fun in a party. All MMORPGs offer that.
However, most MMORPG are too complicated. You need to find 10items to make a item for yourself, you have to run from 3NPCs back and forth just to make a quest and so on. While some people find these thing fun and rewarding I don't. I don't have the time nor the patience and will to "run around" the huge game area just because a program(game) told me to do so.
I can understand why some people think MU is too simple. It is really.
That is why I like it. :)
If anybody knows a Private MU Server with low rates and no reset possibility, PM me. ;) Despite all my efforts to find a good Private MU Server I can't do it... All I find is the same high exp and reset crap. :(
Lineage 2 and Matrix Online
I guess Battlefield 2 also but im not sure if thats classed as a MMORPG
i best ones i have played would have to be lineage 2, Mu ( cause there alot of p-servers and its fun to just pass the time)
Guildwars was fun at start but then just got so boring i had to uninstall it, WOW was ok, throught it would have been better, PT is quite fun once u reach a high enough lvl to rake in the money and the items, Final fanasty was ok, i really hated the combat system, i wish it was like the other ff7, ff8,ff10 combat system.

I played Helbreath, MU..etc and it is just senseless boring slashing. I think its more for monkeys then for humans.

before P2P the game was really cool, nice and friendly community in and out side of game, the guild that i was in it was all about fun and such... then p2p came and the guild goal went from fun to Get lvl... and thats not cool in a mmorpg(for me...)

i Never payed to play... so my top game was Cronous... not too good graphic but i find the playing very nice and interesting... i liked that game, i think it has the best game-play ever :>
also, i dont think i would have stopped playing Tantra if only it wasnt p2p :> that game rocks...
i also loved WoW when i tried the open beta, but after alot of playing in private servers, im sick of it.
ABOUT MU:
IMO one of the lamest game :> all u do is click and watch. no skills, no quests (and quests don't mean only running from 1 npc to another) and actually very boring. but thats my opinion.
P.S - if u cant play a game for more then 1 month, its not considered good. FlyFF for example, is very nice and cute, but i got tired of it after about 2 weeks. lame :)

people are all bitchin about MU but for some reason its got the most post and its the most active forum ... so i dunt get it ... if its soo bad y da fk does every1 hate it?

MU is actually pretty cool, but there are many reasons why people dislike it.
Some of the reasons why i dislike it:
1) Impression of a 3d game, but no camera angle movement, that sometimes ticks me off
2) No teleportation from town to town - sorta a drag running from town to town, but usually in MU once u get to a area that suits your level, you don't really go anywhere else till ur ready to move on.
3) Too many weapons in between, sometimes not even available in stores (on some servers) or on other servers available but not really needed.
4) REALLY EASY PRIVATE SERVERS, this ruined MU for me - but really this ruins alot of games for people. Once you're strong enough to hunt the strongest of the monsters and your equipment is good, you really have no more goals so u sorta stop playing cuz theres no reason to continue.
Other than that, i like the way MU is set up, i love the Death Match thinggy where u fight monsters. The cool colors of items when they are enchanted more and more are really awesome too (and MU did this way before Lin2 had it). All sorts of items n stuff, item creation (sometimes i feel like theres too little items for it to be a complete game though, more cool items would be awesome).
I dunno why people bitch about MU...maybe they just don't have anything else to bitch about so they pick on MU? O.o;;
My Perfect MMORPG: The graphics and some of the game play of Guild Wars added to mostly the game play(fast pvp, castle sieges, caves, bosses, monsters, items, drops etc) and design of Lineage 1, this would be the ultimate MMORPG.
my best mmorpg exp is my first month in UO.
uh , well , for first it was MU only cuz it had equipable wings , lately l2 , and now WoW
Conqueronline is my fav, maybe graphics arent amazing as in l2, but i dont mind that.Theres allot of life in CO, and fun ways to make money(my thing :D )

shadow bane. i think if they could have prevented all the power leveling and cheating, would be the best by far. i mean dude...build your own freakin cities and castles..!!!! sweeeeeet. so many skills and combination with races classes. cool armor and weps, not really any quests though. i think if they had quests it would be a bit funner. but the PvP system was flawless except maybe a few imba'd things. but only like 1-3.
